@ 09:43 Car 10 reports: Box 1695, Fire remains Doubtful. Fire looks to be contained to the area of the electrical panel. Waiting on Con Ed to cut power. We have a smoke condition in the Bldg. Trucks are in the process of venting the Bldg. Transmit a 2nd Alarm ! We have a smoke condition now in the adjoining bldg.

@ 09:53 Car 10 reports: Fire remains Doubtful. Con Ed has cut the cable to the Bldg. Purple K unit in operation knocking down the fire. We had a sprinkler discharge in the fire area. Trying to isolate the sprinkler system. We have a light smoke condition thru out the Bldg. We have high CO readings thru out. Waiting arrival of the 2nd Alarm Trucks with their fans to help vent the Bldg. This fire remains Doubtful. This report from Assist. Chief James Esposito, Bronx Boro Commander.
@ 10:02 Car 10 reports: Fire remains Doubtful. Fire has been knocked down by the Purple K units. Con Ed has cut the power to the bldg. We have back up power to the rest of the bldg. Still doing Searches. We have 150 PPM of CO in the Bldg. Searches in the Children’s Hospital are being conducted. Very light smoke condition in that Bldg. Special Call ( 2 ) additional Trucks for their fans & Co meters. This Fire remains Doubtful. This report from Assist. Chief James Esposito, Bronx Boro Commander.

Purple K units have extinguish the fire. Special Call ( 2 ) additional Trucks with smoke ejectors. He place’s this fire at Probably Will Hold.

@ 10:45 Fieldcom 1: Progress Report for the 2nd Alarm, Box 1695, Columbian Presbyterian Hospital, Car 10, Assist. Chief Esposito reports: Fire has been extinguished. Still have a light smoke condition in 627 & 635 West 165th St. Co’s using fans to force ventilation. Units are operating in the main bldg using the H.V.A.C. systems to vent. Car 10, Assist. Chief James Esposito place’s this Fire UnderControl.
