YWN regrets to inform you of the tragic Petira of Ms. Tova Jeidel A”H (55), after a fire broke out in her home just as Shabbos started.

It is unknown what caused the fire in the home located at 1055 East 22nd Street (near Avenue I), but FDNY members removed her from the blaze in cardiac arrest. Flatbush Hatzolah Paramedics attempted to resuscitate her, and rushed her to Maimonides Hospital where she was R”L pronounced dead.

Misaskim arranged with the NYC Medical Examiner to ensure proper Kavod Hames was given throughout Shabbos, and Levaya details are being arranged.
