The USS New York, which sailed in late 2009 and is partially made of recycled steel from the World Trade Center that was brought down in the attacks on 9/11, is currently stocking their library with books on business, sports and special interest for the troops who are deployed on the ship, especially books pertaining, but not limited to, New York.
John Churcher, who has made his life's work assisting those who are still affected by the 9/11 tragedy, especially those in the service, is doing the collecting and additional fundraising.
You can reach out to Churcher regarding how to donate books for the library and for other ideas ... email: church3161@comcast.net This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
