A victim was hospitalized for smoke inhalation after an early morning fire on the Upper West Side.

It happened at about 5 a.m. on the 11th floor of a building on Riverside Drive.

Fire fighters got the flames under control at 6:40 a.m.

The victim was taken to St. Luke's.  There is no word on their condition.
