Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta, Chief of Department Salvatore Cassano and the FDNY fire safety mascot, HotDog, joined the children of many FDNY members for the 8th Annual Take Our Children to Work Day at FDNY Headquarters.

It was a day of education for children of FDNY staff on April 23, as the Department celebrated its 8th Annual Take Our Children to Work Day at FDNY Headquarters. Dozens of children learned as fire and EMS members described their careers and gave them tours of the apparatus.
