theBravest.com News 12/4/08
The Bloomberg Administration has released results from a first-ever survey of how New Yorkers feel about their city and the quality of municipal services. New Yorkers rank neighborhood satisfaction with the FDNY services highest, EMS in second, and police in third place.
The survey found citywide satisfaction with the Fire Department's fire protection services the highest of all city services garnering a "good" or "excellent" rating from 76% of the 25,000 households that responded. The survey also puts the FDNY's fire protection in the top spot in 56 of 59 neighborhoods, with an overall neighborhood "good" or "excellent" satisfaction rating of 82%, again the highest rated agency by far.
This confirms the close ties and dedication of the firefighters in each firehouse throughout New York City.
The officers & members of every firehouse should be justly proud of the results of this survey and theBravest.com commends them all for their heroism and dedication.
