Brooklyn Philharmonic to Set Up Shop in Former Firehouse

The Brooklyn Philharmonic is poised to convert a shuttered firehouse into its headquarters, while another former firehouse is being turned over to a community group that protested its closing. The city Economic Development Corp. announced Friday that it has chosen the orchestra to redevelop the former Engine Co. 204 facility in the Cobble Hill neighborhood.
