9/11 Flag's Designer Sues for Honor

A Greenwich man who created a flag tapestry to memorialize victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks has filed an intellectual property suit to curb another non-profit group from using the phrase "United States Flag of Honor"to promote its efforts. In the suit filed last month in U.S. District Court in New Haven, John Michelloti, 57, of Riversville Road, contends that the Austin, Texas-based Honor Network and its head, Christopher Heisler, are violating his trademark and is seeking profits they generated from using the phrase "Flag of Honor."...more>
